I realise it when seen for myself, than being told.

I recently quit my job to spend more time with my family,as i am soon to be married and fly to the US. Having done that, these days I more often end up into an argument with mom. The more advices she gives me about marriage, work, my behavior or just about anything with which I could get a better understanding over many things to go about with, in life after marriage; I at times listen to her in my subconscious mind and give a quick 'ok!' , Or just tell her it wouldn't be a problem for me,and I would manage.
One such advice or rather a caution she gave me recently was not to have mood swings which would only make things worse for me. I as usual asked her not to worry so much about me,and I would not take any situation with my spouse to that extent and make it a bad experience to both of us.
Today, when I was browsing over the net,I came across few articles by Dr. Shantanu Nagarkatti, a Mumbai based renowned Surgeon and also known for his spiritual teachings.
Here is a link, an intreview of his taken by Ms Simran Bhargava who hosts the show 'one life to love' on NDTV Good times
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VwMSObBU1jo

His insightful film, "Who the hell thought of this idea called marriage"  shows the lives of two married young couples, and how they cope up with their marital issues. Having seen the movie, though it scared me a li'l, I actually realise how things could change over few years after marriage and even a silly issue can lead to a big destruction in the relationship.
Having realised, now my mom's words of concern shall definitely help me to prepare for the future.Nevertheless, each one of us will not know what lies ahead of us until we hit the waves of life at sea.

Girls,Guys,Gossip.

What happens when a girl(s) gossip?

She would set the ball rolling.

What happens when a guy gossips?

The rolling ball would not just catch fire but also gain momentum, till it turns into ash.

Love you Maa - Sorry!

Sometimes I use harsh words at mom when I'm forced on some things. It is not that I am angry at her, but I want her to realize this cannot continue forever.
There would come a day wherein, I will meet...

...and even live with new people.

It would be a new path in my journey of life.
It would bring in new commitments, priorities, and when life would get more complicated. "And, when you say/ask for some things with the same old expectations from me, I may not reply in the same old immature manner.
If i am unable to do/give you what you asked for,I would rather stay silent, or may be not respond back on some busy situations which may hurt you more, than it would hurt me.

I will have many thoughts about you, Dad and Bro ( our good old happy family)dwelling in my mind and heart, out of the utmost concern i have upon you all; but i may not be able to express everything to you as i atleast do now..

I may feel it would unnecessarily disturb you, or may be hurt you, or it may even seem not to be of importance to you.

Whatsoever mom, i want you to realize one thing that you will always remain my greatest inspiration and the strongest support i have ever gained emotionally, morally and rationally.

I am sorry for all the harshness in my words to you, for all those endless arguments i had with you.
I'm sorry for all the fuss i create not to have the delicious food you make for me amidst the chores.
I'm sorry to make you panic everytime i go out and never inform you of the delay in reaching home.

These words of 'sorries' are never enough for all the mischief i have done, and nor are my 'thanks yous' through mere words gonna compensate all the lovely and only lovely things you give/do for me throughout.

One deep musing. Hoping you to read this someday, Mom.

Love, Archan.

Musings-I

'Life is a lesson,we learn it when we are through'. So true, for all the experiences it gives time to time. The happy ones make us remember the bygone days and the sad ones ,make us feel imprudent, the more older we get.

*Never allow somebody to be your priority when in fact you're just an option for them.

*
It just feels so good to fall in love but be sure you're ready to shed tears because most of the times, it hurts.Cowardly manner it may seem, but for sometimes, no matter how much you love someone,it is still wiser not to have that person back again..

* There is no falling out of love. The person you love(d) changes so much that you can't find them any more.

*
Bad mouthing about anything that you never experienced may one day happen to you when you'll have to contradict yourself.

*
Well-timed silence is better than an over-timed argument.

*
Every experience is good for life, the good ones are cherished. There will be a time when you would cherish the bad ones even more,as it will get you to something ever better than what you deserve.

* Happiness is like a butterfly, you try chasing it,the more it eludes you.

Occupied.

Been long,I haven't been checking my mails, visiting blogs, nor been doing any online browsing. Just keeping myself more preoccupied with stuffs other than anything there is to do with the computer or rather my level of resistance towards anything with this so called virtual world is getting higher.
Ah,what so ever it is,it feels good as long as it doesn't make me miss some of my fellow folks here in this world, which on the other way round,i would be yelled at :P
Anyway, happy blogging to those who are still sticking on to the art. :) will be back here with loads of stuffs soon.

Judging a person

They say it takes years to build a persons character and of course its practically also true. But there are some people who lose the same within no time, coz of their indecent acts and immature talks too.
There are people i know who have lost their respect, their prestige,in others eyes. Their behavior or may be their naivety is the something that reflects. But there are some people who lose their respect by others misjudging them, where some are judged with their looks or the way they present themselves while some are judged as per their habits like drinking, smoking and sometimes the reserved nature too. But is it right to come to early conclusions about people before even approaching them and trying to know what kind of a person he/she may be?
A good old friend of mine who works for a corporate and also is doing some diploma course was sad,as she had not got a merit percentage in her exams while her classmates had all got 90% . Her problem was not the percentage of marks but the other people around her think she is weak and not at all good at the subjects. I adviced my frnd not to take those people so much to heart and that its certain for anybody who manage work and studies simultaneously,to get an 'ok' %. and moreover She being the youngest among the lot and the only person who is earning her own pocket money, the others might also envy her at the same.
According to me,a person who works besides the continuation of their studies obtaining a pretty decent percentage holds an upper hand than a person who just studies and boast about his/her high marks.
If anybody has any good advice or anything to share regarding the topic please feel free to comment.
