Musings-I

'Life is a lesson,we learn it when we are through'. So true, for all the experiences it gives time to time. The happy ones make us remember the bygone days and the sad ones ,make us feel imprudent, the more older we get.

*Never allow somebody to be your priority when in fact you're just an option for them.

*
It just feels so good to fall in love but be sure you're ready to shed tears because most of the times, it hurts.Cowardly manner it may seem, but for sometimes, no matter how much you love someone,it is still wiser not to have that person back again..

* There is no falling out of love. The person you love(d) changes so much that you can't find them any more.

*
Bad mouthing about anything that you never experienced may one day happen to you when you'll have to contradict yourself.

*
Well-timed silence is better than an over-timed argument.

*
Every experience is good for life, the good ones are cherished. There will be a time when you would cherish the bad ones even more,as it will get you to something ever better than what you deserve.

* Happiness is like a butterfly, you try chasing it,the more it eludes you.

Occupied.

Been long,I haven't been checking my mails, visiting blogs, nor been doing any online browsing. Just keeping myself more preoccupied with stuffs other than anything there is to do with the computer or rather my level of resistance towards anything with this so called virtual world is getting higher.
Ah,what so ever it is,it feels good as long as it doesn't make me miss some of my fellow folks here in this world, which on the other way round,i would be yelled at :P
Anyway, happy blogging to those who are still sticking on to the art. :) will be back here with loads of stuffs soon.

Judging a person

They say it takes years to build a persons character and of course its practically also true. But there are some people who lose the same within no time, coz of their indecent acts and immature talks too.
There are people i know who have lost their respect, their prestige,in others eyes. Their behavior or may be their naivety is the something that reflects. But there are some people who lose their respect by others misjudging them, where some are judged with their looks or the way they present themselves while some are judged as per their habits like drinking, smoking and sometimes the reserved nature too. But is it right to come to early conclusions about people before even approaching them and trying to know what kind of a person he/she may be?
A good old friend of mine who works for a corporate and also is doing some diploma course was sad,as she had not got a merit percentage in her exams while her classmates had all got 90% . Her problem was not the percentage of marks but the other people around her think she is weak and not at all good at the subjects. I adviced my frnd not to take those people so much to heart and that its certain for anybody who manage work and studies simultaneously,to get an 'ok' %. and moreover She being the youngest among the lot and the only person who is earning her own pocket money, the others might also envy her at the same.
According to me,a person who works besides the continuation of their studies obtaining a pretty decent percentage holds an upper hand than a person who just studies and boast about his/her high marks.
If anybody has any good advice or anything to share regarding the topic please feel free to comment.

Multithinking

Most people these days are so busy that they hardly have time to even think leisurely or may be they think about so many different things at a time that when it comes to talking,it would turn out to be utter crap, for instance lets take my friend,N who forgets things told to her in less than 24 hours and says one common answer,"i was thinking about something else".
A couple of days back i was also in the same situation, but it turned out to be the best joke in the recent past among friends. I was seriously narrating the story of 3 idiots to one of my friend who was listening to me with utmost interest during which i suddenly said 'aquarium' instead 'ambassador'. She was weirdly gaping at me with a "what are you talking???" expression. I realized the mess i had made in the whole situation i was narrating and laughed my gut out almost the whole day thinking of it. I was telling the scene when kareena's pregnant sister was made to sit in the ambassador car instead of which i said aquarium, probably i had also been thinking about feeding my fishes.
But atleast the whole thing turned out to be something thats laughable, whenever thought about.

On dialing the wrong number.

Mom being a high school teacher handling tenth class, she had to contact one of her tenth class student for some information. She dialed the number that was saved in her mobile with the name Sheshank and when the call was answered from the other side, mom said she was his class teacher but the reply from the other side was not what mom expected it to be,but after sometime the person who din't happen to be the same Sheshank whom mom wanted to contact, said he remembered his Hindi teacher by the name and greeted her. Mom was surprised and cut the call saying it wasn't the same Sheshank she wanted to contact. Later in the evening when i was back home from college, mom told me the whole thing and asked me who that person was. I then realized that the person whom mom spoke to thinking it was her student was actually my cousin brother's friend from whom i had taken some guidance regarding the best management colleges in city and had eventually saved his number in mom's mobile which i had totally forgotten about.
Mom was a li'l embarrassed,though i had a hearty laughter at the end. :P

The kiss effect

When it comes to emotions, everybody knows most men in their 'jawani' ;) flirt with two women at a time. And most women envy each other if the young man gives extra attention and extra sweet gifts to the other woman ;) Now you can see a very young man exceptionally good at flirting and giving a sweet kiss to one of his girls while the other stares with discomfort. Nature you know :P

Now that the France Government is strictly oppressing the Muslims in the country from wearing a burqa or covering their face by any means and anyone who offends the rule would have to pay a huge amount as a fine, then what would this li'l Siberian Husky in the burqa pay? ;)

Mile sur mera tumhara VS Phir mile sur mera tumhara

The National Integration music video "mile sur mera tumhara" first developed in the year 1988, intended to instill a sense of pride and promote unity amongst Indians, highlighting the different linguistic communities and societies that live in India was once again redone as "phir mile sur mera tumhara", after 22 years, and released on our 60th republic day. Both the videos have their own uniqueness though they mean the same. But according to me some parts in the song can be made a li'l better than what is shown. Let me first compare both the music videos

Mile sur mera tumhara . . .

The song starts picturing the sun rise,sea shore and water falls while Pandit Bhimsen Joshi sings the first verses मिले सुर मेरा तुम्हारा, तो सुर बने हमारा| सुर की नदियाँ हर दिशा से, बहते सागर में मिलें बादलों का रूप लेकर, बरसे हलके हलके| मिले सुर मेरा तुम्हारा, तो सुर बने हमारामिले सुर मेरा तुम्हारा| by the side of a water falls.

An aerial view of The Taj mahal followed by Shabana Azmi shown singing, मिले सुर मेरा तुम्हारा, तो सुर बने हमारा|
A group of camels being pulled and Kapil dev walking by the sea shore sings in sindhi,
A group of Sikhs and Muslims (Om puri, Deepa sahi and Dina Pathak amongst) sit together and sing in urdu and panjabi respectively,
Then going to the down south, starting with tamil, shown are actors like K.R.Vijaya, Revathi , Kamal Hassan and Dr. Balamuralikrishna sing, இசைந்தால் நம் இருவரின் ஸ்வரமும் நமதாகும் திசை வேறானாலும் ஆழி சேர் ஆறுகள் முகிலாய் மழையாய் பொழிவது போல் இசை நம் இசை (Isaindhal namm iruvarin suramum namadhakum Dhisai veru aanalum aazi ser aarugal Mugilai mazaiyai pozivadu pol isai Nam isai) followed by carnatic in the background, showing a herd of elephants.

Now,the new version is 3 times longer than the original one but where are the famous citizens other than those from the film industries? There was None of those entrepreneurs, the cricketers, our beloved politicians, scientists?
There was no Ratan Tata nor Abdul Kalam nor our Sachin Tendulkar or Leander Peas. They haven't even featured any of those classical dances other than the barathanatyam.
None of the veteran actors were too featured other than Big B ... Dev Anand,Rishi kapoor.. none of them..
They could have featured the famous journalists like Pranoy Roy or Rajeep Sardesai too.

My overall rating for the new version would be 3.5 out of 5 while the original of course gets a 4.5
I liked the first one better.

The Lizard attack

HEAD lines - A lizard fell on a man's head when he opened the door of his own office at around 7.00PM on 13.2.2010 at Coimbatore. He was born on 7.10.1968 at 6:01AM.

DEAD lines - *The astrologers say this is the most fatal experiences the man could have had and counting from now anytime before 00:00 on 21.12.2012 he might die.

- *The books call it an affect of the bad deeds and would certainly bring bad luck.

The man is overwhelmed while the lizard enjoys the scenario, warming its couch. ;) lol
